Privacy, kept quietly.

We collect what we need to ship your order and run a small studio. We don't sell your data, ever. The device works fully offline.

What we collect

Order data: name, shipping address, email, and the items you bought. Payment is processed by Shopify; we never see your card number.
Account data (optional): if you sign in to view your orders, Shopify verifies you with a one-time email code — no password is created or stored.
Website analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 and PostHog to understand page views, traffic sources, and how features are used. These set cookies and assign an anonymous identifier, and record page URLs, referrer, device and browser type, approximate location from IP, and on-site interactions. We do not use them to sell your data or build advertising profiles.
Device telemetry (optional): if you opt in during setup, your Scripture Clock sends anonymized firmware health reports. You can turn this off any time.

What we don't collect

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't profile you across the web. The only third-party tools on this site are the analytics services above, used to understand traffic and improve the site.

How we use what we collect

To ship your order and follow up if there's a problem.
To send your firmware updates and translation packs (if you opt in).
To send the weekly verse digest, if you subscribed.
To answer your support emails.

Your rights

You can request a copy of all the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, through the contact form. We'll respond within seven days.

If you're in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR — access, rectification, erasure, portability, and the right to object. We honor all of them. If you're in California, you have rights under CCPA. Same answer: we honor them.

Cookies and opt-out

We use one essential cookie to keep your shopping bag intact between visits. Our analytics tools (Google Analytics 4 and PostHog) also set cookies and an anonymous identifier to measure traffic. We do not use advertising cookies.

You can opt out of analytics at any time: block cookies in your browser, use a tracker-blocking extension, or send Global Privacy Control / Do Not Track. To have us disable analytics for your visits, write to us through the contact form.
